Refund Policy

How billing, cancellations, and refunds work for Bluobird.

Last updated: June 28, 2026

This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for paid Bluobird subscriptions. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Merchant of Record

Our payments and subscriptions are handled by Paddle.com, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases. This means Paddle processes your payment, issues your invoice, handles applicable taxes, and processes any refunds. When you request a refund from us, we authorise and instruct Paddle to issue it; the refunded amount is returned to your original payment method.

2. Try before you pay

Bluobird offers a Free plan so you can evaluate the Service before paying. We encourage you to use it to confirm that Bluobird meets your needs before upgrading to a paid plan.

3. 14-day money-back guarantee

If you are not satisfied with a paid plan, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your first payment for that subscription. Just contact us within that window (see section 8) and we will refund your most recent charge and cancel the subscription.

This 14-day guarantee applies to your first payment on a given subscription. Subsequent renewal payments are covered by section 4.

4. Renewals & cancellations

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. When you cancel:

  • Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then stops renewing.
  • We do not provide prorated refunds for the unused portion of a billing period, except where required by law or at our discretion.

Because renewals are scheduled in advance and shown in your billing settings, please cancel before your renewal date if you do not wish to be charged for the next period.

5. Duplicate or incorrect charges

If you were charged in error, charged more than once for the same subscription, or believe a charge is incorrect, contact us and we will investigate and refund any erroneous amount in full.

6. Your own API costs are not refundable by us

Bluobird requires you to connect your own X (Twitter) Developer API keys and your own OpenAI API key. Any fees those providers charge you for API usage are billed by them, directly to you, under their own pricing and terms. Bluobird does not bill, control, or refund those third-party charges — your Bluobird subscription fee is separate.

7. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable refund or cancellation rights you may have under the consumer-protection laws of your country. Where such rights apply, they are in addition to the guarantees above.

8. How to request a refund

Email billing@bluobird.com from the address on your account, with your account email and (if you have it) the Paddle order or invoice number. We aim to respond within a few business days. You can also contact Paddle directly via the help link on your emailed invoice or receipt.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes apply to purchases made after the updated policy is posted; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
