This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is part of our Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses Bluobird. Because Bluobird automates actions on your own X (formerly Twitter) account, you are responsible for everything done through your account, and you must use the Service lawfully and in line with the rules of every platform you connect.
1. Follow platform rules — always
You must comply with the rules of X and any other connected platform, including the X Rules, the X Automation Rules, and the X Developer Agreement & Policy. If X prohibits something, it is prohibited here too — regardless of whether this policy lists it.
2. Prohibited conduct
You must not use the Service to do, attempt, or facilitate any of the following:
Spam & platform manipulation
- Bulk, aggressive, repetitive, or indiscriminate posting, replying, liking, reposting, following/unfollowing, or direct messaging.
- Posting duplicate or near-duplicate content across accounts, or operating multiple accounts in a coordinated or deceptive way.
- Artificially inflating engagement (fake likes, replies, reposts, followers) or buying/selling engagement or accounts.
- Sending unsolicited bulk or automated direct messages, or mass-mentioning users.
- Evading rate limits, bans, or suspensions, or otherwise circumventing platform or Bluobird controls.
Harassment, hate & harmful content
- Harassing, bullying, threatening, stalking, intimidating, or inciting others to do so.
- Hateful conduct or content that attacks or demeans people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, religion, disability, disease, age, sex, gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
- Promoting or glorifying violence, terrorism, or self-harm.
- Sharing non-consensual intimate imagery, or any sexual content involving minors (zero tolerance — such activity will be reported to the authorities).
Illegal, deceptive & abusive activity
- Anything unlawful, fraudulent, or that infringes others’ rights.
- Impersonation, or deceptive/synthetic content intended to mislead (including misrepresenting AI-generated material where prohibited).
- Coordinated disinformation, election manipulation, or platform-manipulation campaigns.
- Distributing malware, phishing, scams, or links to harmful material.
- Infringing intellectual property, trade secrets, or privacy rights; publishing others’ private information without consent.
- Scraping, harvesting, or storing platform data beyond what the platform’s API and terms allow.
Misuse of the Service
- Reverse-engineering, disrupting, overloading, or attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
- Using credentials or accounts you are not authorized to use, or reselling/sublicensing access without our permission.
3. You are liable
You are solely responsible and liable for the content you publish, the actions you automate, and your compliance with all applicable laws and platform rules. Bluobird provides tooling only; it does not review, endorse, or take responsibility for what you choose to post or do. You agree to indemnify Bluobird for claims arising from your use, as set out in the Terms of Service.
4. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and take any action we deem appropriate, including removing content, throttling or disabling workflows, and suspending or permanently banning accounts — with or without notice. We may report illegal activity to law enforcement and cooperate with lawful requests. Users who do not follow X’s policies, or who engage in spam, harassment, or other prohibited conduct, will be banned.
